# FinSync MCP connector

> Remote MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok. A back-office ledger for financieras: it records operations and balances and never moves funds.

FinSync is a **back-office ledger** — a structured spreadsheet for financieras. It records operations and balances. **It never moves funds, connects to banks, or executes payments.** Draft-creating tools do not change the ledger; `confirm_write` is the actual write.

## Requirements

* A FinSync company with `mcp_enabled` (admin / superadmin).
* A FinSync user who can sign in and consent. The token is bound to that user and one company, with the same RBAC and assigned clients as Twin.

## Connect

| **ChatGPT** | Connector / plugin pointing at the same URL. CIMD (`https://chatgpt.com/oauth/client.json` or `https://chatgpt.com/oauth/{callback_id}/client.json`) preferred; DCR kept. Stable redirect: `https://chatgpt.com/connector_platform_oauth_redirect`. |
| **Grok** | [grok.com/connectors](https://grok.com/connectors) → Custom. Business/Enterprise: a team admin provisions the URL in [console.x.ai](https://console.x.ai). Grok's callback is undocumented; DCR is supported and rejected redirect URIs are logged. |

Revoke connections in the FinSync dashboard under **Asistentes de IA**, or disconnect the connector in the assistant.

## Tools

Same names and behavior as Twin. Write tools that only create drafts are annotated `readOnlyHint: false` and `destructiveHint: false`. `confirm_write` is `destructiveHint: true`.

**Read:** `query_books`, `search_client_balance`, `lookup_operation`, `lookup_cheque`, list/export/catalog tools, cheque-quote calculation, CUIT/bank public lookups, docs search, `scan`.

**Draft write:** `operation_{slug}`, `prepare_cheque_quote_pending`, `discard_operation_draft`.

**Ledger write:** `confirm_write` (confirm or discard the draft).

## Rate limits and audit

* 900 authenticated `/mcp` requests / 60s per token+employee; 720 / 60s per company+employee.
* Each tool call is stored in `McpToolCall` (who, company, OAuth client, tool name, error flag, time). Arguments and response bodies are not stored.
